“nose (22.5) the oak offers a pleasing drying effect; a little salty, too…; taste (23) explosive sugars on delivery. A little light hickory gets lost under the growing spice; finish (23) decent oils ensure length and chewability. The spice provide late bite while the dried maple syrup also lasts the course; balance (23) anchors away for a full-bodied bourbon that gets the licorice and spice mix pretty ship shape. 47.5% (95 proof)”
